Red Copper Plate (Pure Copper Plate) | High Conductivity · High Thermal Conductivity · Easy to Work

Red copper plate (also known as pure copper plate) is made by rolling industrial pure copper into sheets. It ranks among the top metals when it comes to electrical and thermal conductivity. Pure copper has a rose-red color, and its surface turns purplish-red when oxidized, which is why it’s called "red copper."

Its electrical conductivity is second only to silver, but its price is much lower, making it an essential material in the electrical industry. At the same time, red copper plates have good workability, corrosion resistance, and weldability, making them suitable for industries such as electrical, electronics, heat exchange, machinery manufacturing, and new energy.

📋 Product Grades and Selection Guide
Grade International Grade Copper Content Key Features Applicable Standards
    T1 C11000 ≥99.95% High purity and high conductivity, conductivity ≥100% IACS GB/T 5231-2012
    T2 C11000 ≥99.90% Economical and versatile, stable overall performance GB/T 2040
TU1 ≥99.97% Oxygen-free copper, no hydrogen embrittlement risk, suitable for high-end vacuum devices
    💡 Selection Advice
For high-end electronics, semiconductors, vacuum devices, and other cases where purity and conductivity are critical, T1 or TU1 are recommended. For general electrical work, structural parts, or decorative uses, T2 is more cost-effective.

    Core Advantages
    High Purity Conductivity
Copper content ≥99.90%, conductivity up to 97%~101% IACS, extremely low energy transmission loss, making it highly energy-efficient in high-current scenarios.
    Excellent Thermal Conductivity
With a thermal conductivity second only to silver among common metals, it’s an ideal choice for radiators, heat exchangers, and thermal management components.
    Outstanding Workability
Excellent plasticity, easy to cut, bend, stamp, deep-draw, forge, and perform other hot and cold processing, meeting complex forming requirements.
    Welding and Surface Treatment Friendly
Supports various welding methods such as brazing, fusion welding, and resistance welding; the surface is clean, electroplating adhesion is strong, and it can be plated with tin, nickel, gold, etc.
    Atmospheric Corrosion Resistance
Stable in dry and most industrial atmospheres, forming a protective oxide film on the surface.
